Ricardo Ospina, 82, a long time resident of Hollywood, passed away Wednesday, December 21, 2016. Born on March 4, 1934, in Brussels, Belgium, to the late Jorge Ospina and Lilli Lambert. Even though he was born in Belgium, he was proud of his Colombian roots. Preceded in death by his beloved wife, Marta Ospina and brother, German Ospina. Survived by his loving children, John (Catherine) Ospina, Maria (Alex) Trochez and George Ospina; brother, Jorge Ospina; sisters, Mercedes Barreto, Astrid Mercado, Clarita Caro; and his pride and joy, his grandchildren, Brandi Ross, Alexander Ospina and Alyssa Ospina. A gathering of family and friends will take place on Friday, January 6, 2017, from 6-8 p.m. with Tributes of a Lifetime Service at 7:00 p.m. at Boyd-Panciera Family Funeral Care, Hollywood Boulevard Chapel.
