Rick was a friend of my son’s, Doug Bliven, since middle school. As Rick was growing up he would alway confide in me whenever he had problems. After my son moved to Orlando six years ago they kept in touch and Rick would still continue to call me to talk. I was so shocked that he did not call me to tell me something was going on with him. I loved him as I would love a son and my heart breaks for him leaving us so soon, but he is at peace. I hope God has a good plan for him because if anyone deserves a better life he does.
