Richard Cornelia, longtime resident of North Miami Beach, Florida passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on August 13, 2023. He was born in Queens, New York, on Crescent street, and had many fond memories of his time with family and cousins. Richard was married to his beautiful wife Barbara, and on July 10th they celebrated 66 years of marriage. Dad was a Golden Gloves Champion, Korean War Veteran, and a big Harley Davidson fan.  He and mom were featured with a full length article and photos in their magazine a few years back. That was a highlight for dad since he had a Harley and loved to ride. He was a pioneer and entrepreneur who had a successful family business for over 40 years.  He also loved to travel with family and friends.
Richard leaves behind his wife Barbara, and six children: Lisa and Craig, and their children, Michelle (Drew) & Danielle; Barbara and Pete, and their children, Peter & Samantha; Richard (deceased), & his son James; Thea and Bruce, and their children, Aaron, Kesli, & Ashli; Peter and Natalie, and their children, Alexandra (Phil), Jessica (Brandon), & Peter; Pam and Mike, and their children, Ryan & Megan.  His great grandchildren: Cooper, Blakely, Maisie, & Ethan.
Dad had a good full life, was loved, and we will miss him.  Forever in our hearts.
