Ritha Athis passed away on Saturday April 11, 2020 at the age of 59. Ritha Athis was born November 2 1960 in Jean Ra Belle, Haiti. She was one of nine children born to Gaston and Elaine Athis.
Ritha Athis met the love of her life Marc Malvosin when she arrive in Miami, FL in the 80s. Ritha was a faithful, caring and loving wife. Ritha is a mother to four children ( Gutemberg, Saraide, Marken and Debbra). Ritha Work at Jackson Memorial Hospital as an Environmental Staff Nursing staff manager, she served by helping others in their time of need. Ritha Athis enjoyed spending time with her family and prayer group (sentinelle). Ritha loved to sing christain hymns, read her bible and give back to those who did not have anything. Ritha has service breast cancer twice during her time on Earth. Ritha was a fighter and still is an overcomer on all obstacles that to in her way. Ritha Athis will be missed dearly but left a legacy that will be remembered by all who knew her.
To touch a life it to make a difference. As a spiritual teacher, Ritha Athis was constantly involved in intellectual matters of her church in Haiti. Ritha naturally channeled the good out of people. Every Saturday morning she would hold prayer gatherings in her living room to praise and honor god. I am happy that people were exposed to what Ritha loved and her teachings. I want them to know that she genuinely cared about their spiritual realms. Ritha labored for God to the fullest and I am proud she left a legacy to God name.

A public visitation will be held on Monday, April 27, 2020 from 6 PM – 8 PM at Boyd-Panciera Family Funeral Care, 6400 Hollywood Boulevard, Hollywood, Florida 33024. A Graveside Service on April 28, 2020 at Vista Memorial Gardens in Miami Lakes, Florida at 1 PM.
