His strong work ethic and dedication to providing for his family set an enduring example for all who knew him.
Bob was a lifelong athlete and passionate sports enthusiast, sharing his love of baseball with his sons by coaching their Little League teams. As his children grew, Bob took up new sports, learning to ski, golf, and play tennis, ensuring he could continue to enjoy the outdoors with his family. Family vacations were spent on the sands of Sanibel and Captiva Islands, where biking, long walks, and beach days created treasured memories. Though not an avid fisherman himself, Bob would often accompany Janet as she enjoyed surf fishing along the shorelines, savoring the quiet moments they shared together.
In later years, Bob found joy in his hobbies, which included tennis, volleyball, golf, biking, boating, and cheering on his favorite football and baseball teams. Daily crossword puzzles with Janet became a quiet ritual, a reflection of their enduring bond.
Bob’s life was defined by his deep love for his family, his resilience, and his appreciation for life’s simplest pleasures. He will be deeply missed, but his spirit will live on in the hearts of those who loved him.
