Robert Lucas, Jr, 77, a beloved father and grandfather, of Pembroke Pines, passed away Thursday, September 22, 2016. He was born in New York, NY, to Robert Lucas and Anna (Pons) Lucas. A proud US Army veteran and dedicated high school teacher. Preceded in death by his beloved wife, Jean Lucas and son Robert Lucas. Survived by his loving children, James Michael (Kim) Lucas, Dawn (Dean) Lucas Cousins and John Anthony (Jamie) Lucas; grandchildren, Brittany Nicole Lucas, Megan Michelle Lucas, Kate Jean Cousins, Kyle Burnside Lucas, Sophie Elizabeth Lucas, Jillian Grace Lucas, Zoe Elizabeth Lucas; and sister, Margie. Visitation will be held on Friday, September 30, 2016, starting at 11:00 a.m. with Tributes of a Lifetime Service at 1:00 p.m. at Boyd-Panciera Family Funeral Care, University Drive Chapel. Interment with Military Honors will follow at Forest Lawn South.
