Gorman, Robert T., 69, of Hallandale Beach, passed away Tuesday, October 18, 2016. Robert was Honorably Discharged from the United States Marine Corp. after 3 tours of duty in South Vietnam. Pre-deceased by his mother, Evelyn (Finney) Gorman. Survived by his son, Jacob Gorman; daughters, Michelle Gorman, Jennifer Gorman, Leila Lacharite, Elizabeth Gorman and Rebecca Fournier. Also, survived by two brothers, Jeff and Steve Gorman. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, October 26, 2016, from 3-6 p.m. at Boyd-Panciera Family Funeral Care, Hollywood Boulevard Chapel. Funeral Service with military honors will begin promptly at 5:00 p.m. Interment will take place on Friday, October 28, 2016, 1:45 p.m. at South Florida National Cemetery.

Dad, i am speechless. I don’t know what to say or how to put it in words, but I’ll try. You were a father to me when you didn’t have to be. You opened your home and you arms to me as a child and always had a word of advice as i got older. You always made me feel likeI had a place in this world. With your corny sayings and songs that will forwver be in my memory, in fact i caught myself ccallin my son a "hocky turd" and i couldn’t help but smile. I have known the Gorman family the past 36 years, and spent several holidays at their house. I use to get all the brother’s mixed up, but I am so sorry to hear Robert is gone. This memory video is beautiful, thank you. Please know you are all in my prayers
