It was with a heavy heart and a loss for words that I received the news of Roland’s passing, from Alex. Roland was Alex’s favorite uncle and the nicest guy you could find. When he entered a room his infectious smile, joyful attitude and his love of family will sadly be missed. May the love he showed, remain with you.

I heard of this most sad news on my flight down to Barbados last week from one of the flight attendants. My deepest condolences to his wonderful family and close friends. We went to Embry Riddle from day 1 to our graduation date. We were best friends eating meals together, socializing and being brotherly at University. We graduated and went our ways as our careers took us. We talked at times, but not in the last three years. My fault i should have done a better job in keeping up. I will miss you for that great smile, encouragement and yes the Trini accent “boy”. You will always be my friend.
