Ronald R. Sankersingh (Ron), age 50, of Miramar, Florida, passed away at his residence on December 6th, 2022. Ron was born on December 21st, 1971, to Patricia Dade-Sankersingh and the late Selwyn Sankersingh in Couva, Trinidad and Tobago.
Ron is survived by his mother: Patricia Dade-Sankersingh, sisters: Rhonda Sankersingh and Re-Anna Bell. Ron is also survived by many nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and friends that dearly loved him.
Ron was born in Couva, Trinidad and Tobago and moved with his family to Miami, Florida on December 5th, 1978. Ron completed all his schooling in Miami, FL. He graduated from Miami Norland Senior High School in June 1989 and entered the United States Army in September that same year. After serving 4 years active duty in the Army including first line deployment in the Persian Gulf War – Operation Desert Storm and 2 years stationed in Germany, Ron was honorably discharged with Commendations from the US Army on December 30th, 1993.
Ron started his ~ 30-year medical career in January 1994 at Palmetto General in Hialeah, Florida. He held positions of increasing responsibility at Miami Heart Medical Center, Mount Sinai Medical Center, Aventura Medical Center, Memorial Regional Hospital, Emory St. Joseph in Atlanta, Georgia and CHI St. Luke’s in Houston, Texas. From 2004 to 2006, Ron also completed his Associates Degree from Miami Dade Community College. His goal was to share the knowledge he accumulated by being an example to others, being part of “one-team” with a focus on patient safety and satisfaction. Ron was well known for his unwavering work ethic and attention to detail.
A Memorial Gathering with a Tributes of a Lifetime Service will be held on Saturday, January 7, 2023, From at 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM with the Service at 2:30 PM at Boyd-Panciera’s University Drive Chapel located at, 1600 N. University Drive, Pembroke Pines, Florida 33024.
