Rosa Virginia Mercado Vazquez age 97 of Hallandale Beach, Florida, passed away on October 6, 2023. She was born on April 4, 1926 in Sabana Grande, Puerto Rico to the late Antonio Mercado and Adela Vazquez.

She was also preceded in death by her husband, Efigenio Pagan Pagan.

Rosa is survived by her sons: Nelson Pagan and William Pagan and his wife, Rosa Delia Melendez; granddaughters: Fabiola Pagan Melendez and Stephanie Pagan Melendez and sister, Mary Mercado.

Funeral Mass to be held on Monday, October 9, 2023 at St. Lawrence Catholic Church, 2200 NE 191st Street, North Miami, Florida 33180.

She will be laid to rest beside her husband in Puerto Rico National Cemetery, Bayamon, Puerto Rico.
