Rose Marie Karl Edwards. Born March 30, 1927 and died July 1, 2008. She was born in Chicago where she worked as executive secretary to the CEO of Rotary International before moving to Ft. Lauderdale in 1950 to marry her husband of 54 years, Gilbert. She was a gracious and kind woman, a devoted wife and mother and was loved by all who knew her. She is survived by her six daughters: Gail, Susan, Carol, Laura, Elaine and Jacqueline; and her nine grandchildren: Sarah, Megan, Samantha, Annie, Katie, Mollie, Matthew, Alex and John. The family will hold a private service and asks that in lieu of flowers, dontations be sent to Hospice By The Sea, 1531 W. Palmetto Park Road, Boca Raton, FL 33486.
