Samuel Gómez, 65, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family. Born in Puerto Rico, Samuel later made Massachusetts his home before settling in Florida, where he spent his later years.
A devoted husband, father, and friend, Samuel was a man of great warmth and unwavering loyalty, not just to those he loved but also to his beloved New England sports teams. Whether it was cheering on the Red Sox at Fenway, celebrating Patriots victories, or following the Celtics through every season, his passion for sports was only rivaled by his love for his family. He also enjoyed seafood and listening so salsa music.
He leaves behind his cherished wife, Enid Rivera Gómez, and his children: Samuel Gómez Jr., Joana Gómez, and Christina Samantha Ortiz, and her husband Carlos, and grandchildren: Adrian, Christopher, Carlos Ivan III, Carmen Ivelice and Carina Samantha, who will forever carry his memory in their hearts. Samuel’s legacy of love, resilience, and devotion will continue to live on through his family and the countless lives he touched.

My deepest condolences to the Gomez Family. Sammy was a great man. I had the pleasure of meeting Sammy through work ( Boston Edison ). He was a person that could make anyone feel comfortable around him. He was willing to help anyone no matter what was happening.” Sammy you will be missed but we take comfort that you will be in the house of our Lord watching over your loved ones now” . God Bless the Gomez Family and all of his beloved.

Samuel preceded us by leaving this world to go to heaven, God wanted it that way, only his legacy and his works remain.
To his wife Magaly and his son Samuelito, thank you for sharing your life with Samuel and for taking care of him until the end of his life in this world.
