Cordero, Sherry Ann, 58, of Sunrise passed away Monday, February 26. 2007. She is survived by daughters, Michelle Mullen and Jennifer Sanchez; son, Peter Cordero; her mother, Mary Cash; Sherry is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 3 brothers and 2 sisters. Funeral Mass will be 10:00 AM, Thursday, Mar. 1, 2007 at All Saint Catholic Church, Sunrise, Florida. Family request donations to Memorial Breast Cancer Center. 3435 Johnson Street, Hollywood, FL 33021. She will be forever loved and missed.

I AM SO SORRY ABOUT YOUR MOTHER SHE WAS SUCH A GOOD HEARTED PERSON….SHE WAS SO GOOD TO ME WHEN WE WERE LITTLE KIDS I’LL NEVER FORGET…I AM SO SAD… I COULD NOT BELIEVE IT WHEN I FOUND OUT….SORRY I DID NOT MAKE THE FUNERAL I FOUND OUT AFTER… MY FAMILY SENDS OUR LOVE AND IF YOU EVER NEED ANYTHING YOU KNOW YOU CAN CALL ME YOU HAVE MY EMAIL ADDRESS….I LOVE YOU ALWAYS!!!

I am greatly saddened by Sherry"s passing. I attended Mcarthur High School in Hollywood with her and Pete Cordero. She was always very energetic and happy to be around. I called her from the phone booth on Hollywood Blvd. at the Turnpike exit to say goodbye as I was leaving the next day for Navy boot camp in Chicago. When I returned from boot camp 3 months later Sherry was Pete’s girl. I know Pete from Riverside elementary in Miami around 1959. My parents moved to New York for a couple years and returned to Florida and settled in Hollywood and I ran into Pete again at Driftwood Jr. High. We went to Mcarthur as well. I never forgot Sherry for some reason as she was a magical memory of those days of youth.
