This was a difficult week. I’ve realized how much death hurts. I lost a childhood friend who I’ve known since im 8 years old. Even though I haven’t seen him the past few years, all of the old memories pour back in and it’s overwhelming. I realized today how deeply this hurt and will miss him always and forever. He was and will always be one of my best friends. In my highschool years, me and Simon were together almost everyday we would play handball daily and videogames. He was someone you can always rely on. He can always cheer you up. Possibly the most positive happy person I have ever known. Today Sylvia reminded me of something Simon remembered about me when he met me and this has been resonating through me all day. I love him and will miss him dearly forever. He was a great person and I feel privileged to have known him and been his friend. He has a great wife and 3 kids who will live on to keep his memory alive.

From the few times we had gotten together, I was able to tell right away he was a kind and nice person. It weighs heavily on all our hearts that he is no longer with us. You will always be remembered my old friend. My heart goes out to Silvia and the kids and the rest of the family. Rest In Peace.
