My Sister of 49 years is gone too soon. Friend to Family. The highs, lows & in between. Thought we had so many years to come. We 3 were to be “The Jamaican Golden Girls”.

Too many thoughts but few words now coupled with Dad. A huge hit.

Mom, Sam, David, ALL Family, extended & friends. This is where Faith steps in & we allow HIM to take the wheel. May we all find that peace that passeth all understanding.

There are no words to describe this terrible loss. My BFF for 35 years. I can’t imagine a world without you “Aunty Suze” We always said we would be like The Golden Girls as we grew older. Mom, Sammie, David and all the rest of the family and friends I am so deeply sorry for your loss. May her memory live on in our hearts for a lifetime!

Prayers and condolences to Susie’s family. She was a past schoolmate of mine. May her soul rest in eternal peace.

Death is nothing at all. It does not count. I have only slipped away into the next room. Nothing has happened. Everything remains exactly as it was. I am I, and you are you, and the old life that we lived so fondly together is untouched, unchanged. Whatever we were to each other, that we are still. Call me by the old familiar name. Speak of me in the easy way which you always used. Put no difference into your tone. Wear no forced air of solemnity or sorrow. Laugh as we always laughed at the little jokes that we enjoyed together. Play, smile, think of me, pray for me. Let my name be ever the household word that it always was. Let it be spoken without an effort, without the ghost of a shadow upon it. Life means all that it ever meant. It is the same as it ever was. There is absolute and unbroken continuity. What is this death but a negligible accident? Why should I be out of mind because I am out of sight? I am but waiting for you, for an interval, somewhere very near, just around the corner. All is well.

Susie…it took a minute before I could even find the words. I remember you as a fun loving, vibrant, immensely funny and of course beautiful girl who brought so much light to our days at school. I offer my condolences to all those who love you and hope in time they will be comforted by the fond memories they have. Your candle will forever shine brightly by the light you have left behind. 🙏🏾💔

My deepest condolences to the Lee-Sin family and friends. May God guide, protect and bring you comfort during this very challenging time.

May the following words by Mary Elizabeth Frye bring you some semblance of peace.

Do not stand at my grave and weep
I am not there. I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awaken in the morning’s hush
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry;
I am not there. I did not die.
