Way, Ted F., age 69, has gone home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. He died on August 26, 2023, at his home with his wife by his side.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Jodi Way and his brother, Michael Way.

Ted was born in Augusta, Georgia, then moved to Florida. He found his second family at Pembroke Road Baptist Church. He served as a Deacon in the church for many years and he joined the choir which is where he found his love for music and singing. Ted used his music as an outreach to others. He worked for Publix as a truck driver, after retiring he was passionate about assisting others by driving them to doctors’ appointments, hospital visits, and whatever else anyone needed as he was a kind and gentle man. Ted had a servant’s heart.

Visitation will take place on Thursday, September 7, 2023, from 5:00 – 7:00 PM with a Funeral Service at 6:00 PM at Pembroke Road Baptist Church, 7130 Pembroke Road, Miramar, FL 33023.
