I meet Ted at Piccadilly where I work. We were good friends, we went to the Ice Show last year, we had a good time. when my ferret died,I was very sad so Ted went with me and purchased a ferret for me.He came and cut my tree last year. Ted was a very good friend and man. We, at Piccadilly, did put some flowers and candles at the table that He always sat His cup of coffee and the chocolate Andes that I always gave him when He came are there also.He is gone now but will always remain in my heart and knowing that he is reunated with his wife, that is consoling for me. My prayers goes to Ted Family and friend. I wish I could be there but I have to work.I will go and visite him later. dear Ted I will see you later.

UNCLE
The distance kept us apart from you
We wish that wasn’t so
How can someone for whom you truly care
Be someone you don’t know?
We wish the miles would fade away
We wish they’d disappear
Perhaps we would have known you well
If only we’d been near
We wish we would have found the time
To send you news by letter
Perhaps if we had written to you
We would have known you better
There are things we wish we’d learnt about you
Things we wish we knew
And you didn’t know much about us either
And we wish that wasn’t true.
The few memories we have of you
Leave a sad farewell to bid
As we wanted to spend more time with you
Now we’ll always wish we did.
We wish we had not lost our chance
To somehow keep in touch
As even in not knowing you
We loved you very much.
…Your neices

Dearest Ted, 41 years have passed since we first met, where has the time gone? Your family here in England are so very sad not to be there to see you one last time. We had hoped to meet up again later this year. Sam was very eager for you to meet his family. He has become a Fine man, with a lovely partner, they are great parents. Evie is doing well now after her heart surgery. She is starting to grow and can now walk and talk a little. She is a real Joy to me. Danielle and Michelle are now brunettes, you’d laugh at that. They are wonderful daughters and are truly devastated to have to say goodbye to their Uncle, many people are. We had dreams of you visiting us here in England. We wanted to show you our home and the beautiful English countryside with all it’s castles and history, you said you’d like that. I guess the Florida sunshine is no match for a cold, grey, England. But we feel that you are looking down on us now. What do you think? Danny misses his mate “Big Ted” It is really hard to accept that we will not see you again. But, like everyone, we take comfort that you are once again united and happy with Our Barbara. Give her our love. Your Father and all those you’ve loved that are gone before and I am sure Marion and John are up there somewhere will be so glad to see you, but I only wish we could have kept you here for a bit longer. Goodbye For Now, LOVE YOU ALWAYS. FOREVER IN OUR HEARTS, CAROL XXXX
