Thomas, this is Hilda. I miss you so very much. I know and feel no more suffering. I know you would be proud of me I had swallowing procedure to have a better life with proper nutrition. If only we had been able to help you sooner. I have thought much with time since you are gone. I know if errors had not occurred you would be here for ten more years. I will see you when my time comes. All my love your wife.

Tom was more like a brother to me than a brother in law. I’ve never seen a person fight to live for as long and hard as he did. Animals were drawn to him, especially stray cats which he would eventually let them stay in the house. He used to say he liked animals more than humans. Watching sports, especially the Miami Dolphins was his great joy.
Life isn’t the same now that he’s gone, I miss his laugh, talking sports or just being able to talk to him. I know he’s not in pain anymore so I have fond memories of happier times. Rest in peace Tom.
