December 23, 1961~October 29, 2022
Victoria Marlene Diaz, beloved daughter, sister, and aunt, of Pembroke Pines, Florida, passed away peacefully at the age of 60. Known as Marlene or Vicky to friends and family, she was born in Havana, Cuba and came with her family to the United States in 1968.
Marlene was a joyful presence at family gatherings, and could often be found dancing in her seat, laughing with loved ones, or partaking in her two favorite pastimes: puzzles and gossip. She had an extraordinary memory for names, and constantly asked after her many relatives and friends both near and far.
Marlene is survived by her parents, Angel and Gregoria “Lumi” Diaz, brother Osmani (Josie), nephews Jonathan (Nicole) and Kevin, niece Katie, and countless relatives and friends who loved her dearly and will miss her tremendously.
