Mahnke, Walter H., 90, of Hollywood passed away Saturday, June 30, 2007. Walter was born on July 6, 1916 in Duluth MN. He served his country as a member of the Army Air Corp in WWII. He started Mahnke’s Orthotics-Prosthetics INC in Florida in the early 1970’s. Walter was predeceased by his loving wife of nearly 40 years, Violet. He is survived by his children: Marilyn J. Mahnke and her husband Marty, Jerald Mahnke and his wife Diana, Robert Mahnke and his wife Lyn, Bonnie Nielsen and her husband Richard, Barbara Halstead, and George Smith and his wife Holly, 11 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren, Friends may visit from 10 AM Friday at Boyd’s University Dr. Chapel. Funeral Services will be 11:00 AM, Friday July 6, at Boyd’s University Dr. Chapel.
