Stubblefield, Wayne Joseph of Copper City passed away March 31, 2004 in the Veteran’s Administration Medical Center in Palm Beach after a brief illness. Mr. Stubblefield was a facilities and maintenance supervisor employed by Stiles Management and most recently by the Seminole Tribe in Hollywood. Wayne was born in Rome, New York and moved to North Miami with his family as a young boy. He graduated from North Miami High School and served in the Air Force from 1961 – 1965. Mr. Stubblefield was married to the late Eileen Bunny Stubblefield and is survived by 3 children, Julia Christine, Gregory Wayne and Todd Christopher, his brother Keith Stubblefield and 1 grandchild Morgan Nicole Stubblefield. He is also survived by 9 nieces and nephews and 10 grand nieces and nephews. Friends may gather at 6:30 PM on Monday, April 5, 2004 at Boyd’s Family Funeral Home for a Memorial Service which will be held at 7:30 PM in the funeral home.
