William Dennis Rye of Hollywood, FL passed away suddenly, on the morning of July 03, 2019. 

William known as Dennis by family and friends, lovingly called “Bubba” by his siblings and was Nicknamed “Dink” in his youth by his cousins. Was born March 13,1958 of Robert Rye and Syble Dalton Maynard of Monroe, GA. 

By trade, William was a Licenced Master Electrician, owning Residential Electrical Contracting businesses in both Phoenix, AZ and Broward County, FL. after retiring as an Electrician, he switched careers and became a Security Guard in Delray Beach, FL. 

William has resided in Monroe/Athens, GA, Lavern/Nashville, TN, Phoenix. AZ and settled with his Life-Partner and Soulmate David G. Rupp of 27 years in Hollywood, FL, where he built strong lasting relationships with Family and Friends over the years and through his travels and life. 

He is survived by his Life-Partner David, Sister Karen Elaine Lankford of Savannah,Ga., Brother Robert Carey Rye of Lavern, Tn and Sister Francis Kaye Maroney of Cullman, AL., Loving Nieces and Nephews: Christy, Amy, Robert & CJ, Melinda, Amanda, Jack, & Robert, Charles, Leah, Brooke, Jennifer, Josh and Sarah,, In-Laws: Thomas, Cindy, Tammy, Rebel, Nancy & Judi, many loving Cousins, 2 Dogs Sage and Maggie and his many friends, Colleagues and Residents of the Ocean Dunns Condominiums in Delray Beach, FI. 

William was a devoted, loyal, kind-hearted, generous Christian man who loved his Family, Children (Especially spoiling his many Nieces and Nephews), Rescued Animals (a love for Pitt-Bulls in particular) and would reach-out unselfishly and with kindness to the homeless. 

William Dennis “Bubba, Dink, Honey-Boo” will be sincerely deeply missed by all who knew him. We will miss his big loving heart, adorable smile, great laugh, silly jokes and the crazy little Folk-Songs that he used to sing whether you wanted him to or not. We all love you so much. 

William is joined in heaven with his loving Mother Syble, Father Robert, Grandparents Mattie Sue. & William (Bill) Dalton. Brother Charles Terrell Rye. Morris, Cousins, Aunts and Uncles and Mother and Father In-Law: Janice Chadwick, George Rupp and nephew Derek Hoffman.
