William Edward Knighton, age 71, of Pembroke Pines, Florida, passed away on May 28, 2025. He was born in White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia on June 2, 1953 to the late William and Eleanor Knighton.
He was also preceded in death by his 3 siblings.
William is survived by his wife, Rori W. McKinnon; children: Robin Rebelo, Crystal (Joseph) Smith and Sebastian McKinnon; 5 grandchildren; brother, John (Dolores) Sheridan; 4 nieces & nephews; several great-nieces & great-nephews; canine companion, Natalie and a loving, extended family.

Just two days ago, I faced the heart-wrenching reality of losing a truly special man in my life.
We’ve navigated our fair share of ups and downs together, but through it all, he was always there, steadfast and supportive. I never imagined I would ever want to get married, but he changed my perspective entirelyโhis love and belief in us opened my heart. I am so grateful for the time we had together. He wasn’t just a partner; he was an incredible father to our son, his children & grandchildren.
For a long time, he battled health issues, and the last two months took a devastating turn, forcing us to say goodbye. I will miss you William Knightonย
