Wrenale Owens, better known as “Buddy” age 75 passed away at his residence in Miramar, Florida on July 8, 2022. He was born on April 10, 1947 in Rock Hill, South Carolina to the late Wrenale and Maude Owens.
He proudly served his country in the US Navy and went on to serve the community as a fire fighter for the City of Pembroke Pines for almost 30 years.
Buddy is survived by his wife of 52 years, Valentina Owens; brother, Albert Hamid; sister, Diamond Kjellberg and niece, Ocean Kjellberg.
Memorial Gathering to be held on Tuesday, July 19, 2022 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM with video tribute at 7:00 PM at Boyd-Panciera Family Funeral Care, 1600 N. University Drive, Pembroke Pines, Florida 33024.
In lieu of flowers, family would like donations be made in Buddy’s memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, http://www.stjude.org

Buddy was a good friend and will be sorely missed. He had a great sense of humor and told great stories.

I’m sorry to hear about Buddy, we had a lot of great memories growing up. Always doing something! I have not been able to contact Val ,Dimond or Albert. My hope is that one of them see this post and calls me. My best to everyone, RIP BUDDY!!!
