Bobby and Michele,
It has been many a year since I’ve seen your father, but he has been strongly in my thoughts in recent weeks, especially this week. He was truly one of the kindest and loving men that I have been blessed to know. He enjoyed life to the fullest and shared this inner joy with everyone in his path.
He was a special man that touched many lives and I know he will be greatly missed. He’s always had a special place in my heart and always will.
My thoughts are with both of you…

During the few times that we were able to share your fathers company here in Jacksonville we instantly felt the very loving and special person that was Joe. His warmth aloud us to feel as if we had known him for a long time. We are with you today through our thoughts and prayers.
Love,
Cathy and Pat

Michele & Robert,
I feel very blessed to have been a part of Joey’s life the last 16 years. He was the most loving, caring, compassionate, and giving person I have ever known in my lifetime. He always treated me and my family as we were his own family. I am grateful to have known such a wonderful man and my life has been enriched because of him. I hope you find comfort in the days to come that he is at peace and in a better place. Him & my Dad are probably talking each other’s heads off right about now. That makes me smile. Just know if you need anything I am here.

Dad you were my best friend, mentor and most of all hero. I can only hope live my life and become half of the man that you always were. I will never forget my best friend and will cherish those times we sat and drank coffee and listened to your favorite music; often before you told me to leave and go to work so “I can get some peace and quiet”. You were a caring and compassionate man who loved his family and his friends. Those lives that you have touched have been enriched. I love you and will never forget the best Father, Friend, and Mentor a man could be blessed with… Robert

Dear Michele and Robert, Joey Da-Da was truly a wonderful soul. He always had a kind word for me and was the most giving man. I loved his heartfelt appreciation for good food and the conversations we shared. He will be truly missed…….

Robert, Michele, and Mike Mushy, It is with deep sorrow and regret that I have learned of the passing of Joey. As a child growing up in Brooklyn, Joey was one of my favorite cousins. I always regarded him as a role model to be emulated. I have only fond memories of Joey which remain crisp in my mind and heart after more then 67 years.
