What a sweet, sweet man. I will miss him so much. He is in a place where the pain is gone and he is sitting with Uncle Lou and comparing fish stories. Aunt Alice, you are being thought of every day. I realize it’s difficult for you being without Uncle Andy, but knowing he is with his Lord I’m sure is giving you comfort. Uncle Andy will be with you every day and will be waiting when you can meet again. I love you and my prayers are with you. Love, Sherry.

Bev and I are saddened to know of Andy’s passing from our company here below – although we all are impressed by the opportunity we will have in eternity to be present with him again.
How tenderly do we remember him and his many kindnesses to us. I recall how he helped me, a mere eighteen year-old at the time, step up to the task of becoming your pastor when I was ill-prepared to do such a thing. But the Lord was faithful, and God has enabled me to serve as a pastor now for well over forty years now.
I was intrigued to learn that Andy was in the Merchant Marine during the Second World War. My late neighbor here in Lexington, Roy Behymer, and my State Farm insurance agent from Alexandria, Ed Schadler, both shared with me tender stories about their days of similar service ferrying troops during the war. I wish I had had similar conversations with Andy, but that topic never came up.
Know of our love for you and your precious family, especially during this time of fresh loss.
