JEKKALS, Anita L., a loving mother and grandmother, of Lighthouse Point, entered into eternal life Monday, January 30, 2017, at the age of 77. She was born in Lancaster, Ohio, to the late Darl Woltz and Helen Fravel. She devoted her life to teaching. Pre-deceased by her husband, Valdemars Jekkals. Survived by her children, Erik Jekkals (Patricia), Kurt (Lynn) Jekkals, Amy (Ray) Johnson; grandchildren, Regan and Luke Jekkals, Katelyn, Trevor and Abigail Johnson. A Memorial Service will be held at Calvary Chapel Boca Raton, 1551 West Camino Real on Monday, Febraury 6 at 3:00 p.m., followed by a gathering at the church. As expressions of sympathy donations may be made to 4 Kids of South Florida, 4kidsofsfl.org in lieu of flowers.

You had an amazing mom. We loved her wonderful Christian spirit and lived out her faith. It was a privilege for us to have known her. We will miss our lunches with her when she visited Michigan.
