Anthony “Tony Stevens” Dolandis, 91, passed away on March 24th at his home in Sunrise. An accomplished trumpet player with a PHD in Music, Tony performed with the USO in Korea and was also a renowned bandleader in New York, performing with Harry James, and at Carnegie Hall. A wonderful story teller with immense joie de vivre, the two most important things in his life were his family and his music. He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth, his two sons, Rory and Randy, his two daughters-in-law, Mindy and Pilar, his granddaughter, Chloe, and his grand dog, Sochi. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 28th, from 10:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. at Boyd-Panciera Family Funeral Care, Hollywood Boulevard Chapel. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Mercy Cemetery in Doral.
