Anthony Benedict, Jr. of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, December 29, 2022, at the age of 22. He is survived by his father, Anthony Sr.; his mother, Melissa Weise; his stepfather, Kevin Weise; stepmother, Carolanne Haas; brother, Kaden; sisters: Celeste and Kristi; Grandmothers: Pamela Amodei and Kathleen Weise, along with numerous Aunts and Uncles that all loved him very much.

Anthony worked at Abco Paving and Drainage and Gi Gi’s restaurant while contemplating his college major and career. Anthony first and foremost was a Christian. A happy, cheerful, selfless, caring and giving man and always treated people with respect and dignity and enjoyed helping people in need. He enjoyed spending time with his family, swimming and diving, and shooting pool with his friends.  Anthony shared good humor and a big smile with everyone he met. People loved his practical jokes and he was an integral part of creating a solid foundation amongst his friends. 

Anthony was loved by many and will be greatly missed by his family, friends and anyone who had the privilege of coming to know him.

Visitation to be held on Sunday, January 8, 2023 from 2:00 PM until 6:00 PM, with Tributes of a Lifetime and Prayer Services at 4:00 PM at Boyd-Panciera Family Funeral Care, 1600 N. University Drive, Pembroke Pines, Florida 33024.

I am so sad that this sweet, soft spoken young man is gone from this earth. In the many years I knew Anthony he was always kind & loved by his family. I will remember his smile and kind heart.

I am so sorry to hear about the passing of Anthony. I remember him as a cheerful, sweet and adventurous young boy. Sending prayers to his family that the precious memories of him will comfort you in this time of mourning.
