Auricchio, Anthony William, 57, of Hollywood passed away Thursday, January 29, 2009. He is survived by 2 children; Holly Kendrigan John, Mindy Ward, Brother, Dominick Auricchio; sisters, Roselynn Bryant Frank, Ann Marie Hughes Russell; 3 grandchildren, Tyler, Bryce and Alec. Friends may visit from 1-4 & 6-9 PM, Monday at Boyd’s University Dr. Chapel. Funeral Services will be 7:30 PM, Monday, Feb. 2, 2009, at Boyd’s University Dr. Chapel. Tony was a simple man with a genuine heart.

Tony was so friendly! He accepted as we are. He liked us
unconditionally. It didn’t matter where we lived or what make of car we drove or what cloethes we wore. We became his lifelong friend. He
cared about us. This was a man of integrity and goodness.

I can’t express how much I loved Tony. I really had the chance to get to know him a lot better during his stay at the rehabilitation hospital, and when he came home. We had a lot of laughs and that will remain with me always. There was nothing better than to see Tony laugh! And boy could he! Thanks to his daughter Holly for lovingly taking his cats into her home, and loving them. Tony would appreciate that more than you know. Tony was a GREAT friend to me. He will be missed terribly. I lost my brother also, so I know how you feel. I am so sorry. I know Donny will be lost without his best friend. That might be the hardest part for me to think about. My deepest sympathy. I was able to share experience, strength and hope with Tony when he began waiting for a transplant. He was so open and honest – and we got to laugh at some of the craziness they put us through! For you especially, Donny, my heart goes out to you.
