Mrs. Audrey M. Potter, a loving mother, grandmother and Navy Veteran, went home to be with her Lord and be reunited with her beloved husband of 25 years, Lawrence O. Potter, on Thursday, October 31, 2013. Audrey was born in Sioux Falls, SD and then relocated with her parents to Oshkosh, WI, where she later met her husband. In 1960, they moved to Florida and raised their devoted family. Audrey was a Licensed Pilot, who was very proud of her military background. She leaves behind to mourn her passing her beloved daughters, Patrice Wade and Michelle Richard Doyle; her loving son, Martin Potter; her adored grandchildren, Martin, Stephanie, Matthew, Justin and Chad; her sweet great-grandchildren, Jackson, Torianne, Bradyn and Chase; and her brother, Orlan Theresa Thomas. A gathering of family and friends will take place on Sunday, November 10, 2013, starting at 1:00 p.m. with a Memorial Service at 2:45 p.m. at Luther Memorial Lutheran Church, 1925 North State Road 7, Hollywood, FL 33021. There will be an Urn Committal Service with Navy Honors on Monday, November 11, 2013, at 11:00 a.m. at Vista Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
