Audrey was a force to be reckoned with ! 🙂 Of course I was intimidated by her ! I was at the Fed from1974 to 1992 and Vince from 1977 to 1988. It was always great seeing her at the reunions.

So sorry to hear about the passing of Mrs. Larsen. I remember fondly her graciousness in taking a bunch of crazy girls into their home every spring break – feeding us, taking us to the greyhound races, and just just being a good "mom" for the week. Neecy, Kai, Rich and boys I know you’ll miss her dearly. – Beth Trump

Dear Larsen Family: I was so sorry to learn of Audrey’s passing. As a young mother, I began working as a teller at Hollywood Federal in 1970; leaving in 1985 as a Branch Manager. I always considered Audrey, my mentor. She demanded the best from me, but always with a life-lesson that I carried with me throughout my banking career. I remember, that she would talk about "my Denise" and that beautiful dimpled-smile would light up her face. In her own way, she looked after "the girls"; teaching us the importance of showing others the way too. We knew that she meant what she said and we always wanted to please her. She was very thoughtful, leaving gifts without a card, and when I would call to say thank you; she would pretend that it wasn’t. It was. I know you will always cherish your family memories, but those of us who occupied her time at work, have many more. God Bless you all and know that we miss her too. Denise (Gritter) Long.
