Balram M. Ragoobir, of Hollywood, passed away on Tuesday, January 29, 2019, at Memorial Regional Hospital. He was 58 years old.

Born on February 22, 1960, in Whim, Guyana, to the Baljit and Hemmaty (Mangru) Ragoobir.   Beloved father to Steve and his wife Shabana Ragoobir, Shawn and his wife Damaris Ragoobir and Angela Ragoobir.  Dear grandfather to Ava and Zayan Ragoobir.  He is survived by his brothers Buddy Ragoobir, Radika Ragoobir, Radeep Ragoobir, Sabo Ragoobir and Devika Ragoobir.  He will dearly remembered by his nieces and nephews Jaishree, Sandeep, Michael, Vashree, Jayson, Rebecca, Malin, Andra, Randy, Janie, Shyan, Bina, Anil, and Randa.  Balram is predeceased by his father Baljit Ragoobir and brother Arjune Ragoobir.

The family will receive friends at Boyd-Panciera Family Funeral Care, University Drive Chapel on Friday, February 1st, from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. A tribute to Balram’s life will take place on Saturday, February 2nd, 10:00 a.m. also at the funeral home.  Interment will follow at Hollywood Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
