Roussell, Beldon, Joseph “JOE”, 82, of Hollywood, passed away August 17, 2019.  Born November 28, 1936 in Perry, Florida and moved to South Florida when he was 12 years old.  Joe was a proud veteran of the U.S. Marines and worked for the Miami Beach Police Department for over 30 years retiring as Captain.  After retiring he spent his time helping his family, friends and neighbors fixing anything that needed to be fixed and feeding the neighborhood dog biscuits.

Joseph is survived by his dear wife of 51 years Sophia; sons, Bryan Roussell, John Roussell and his wife Monthira; sister,  Frances Cecile Roussell; granddaughters, Marisa Moran and her husband Michael, and Sarah Roussell; grandson,Joseph Roussell; great grandson, James Moran; great-granddaughter Evelyn Sophia Moran.

Family will receive friends on Monday, August 19th, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM with a prayer service at 7:00PM at Boyd-Panciera Family Funeral Care 6400 Hollywood Boulevard, Hollywood,FL 33024. A Funeral Mass is scheduled for Tuesday, August 20th, 9:30 AM at Nativity Catholic Church, 5220 Johnson Street, Hollywood, FL 33021 followed by interment at Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Ft. Lauderdale.

Sofie. Our hearts are with you in this time of sorrow! Joe has always been so kind to our family, including Sherlock and Watson, and Koda before them! He will be greatly missed, but he is now with the Lord, and no longer suffering!

I’m so sorry for your loss. Nothing can prepare one for such a loss but rest assure he lived a full life of experiences, adventures and love in raising and providing for a great family.
