It is with deep sadness to announce the passing of Benjamin T. Spires III, West Palm Beach, Florida on Monday, April 11, 2022.  He was surrounded by his loving family and passed with dignity as he fought cancer on his own terms until the Lord called him home.  His faith in the Lord brought him peace and calm which in turn gave those around him strength and comfort.

Ben retired from BellSouth after 33 years to care for his loving wife.  Ben loved to fish, take daily walks, watch football, spend time with his family and play Yahtzee!  He was the number one fan to his grandchildren no matter what activity.  Ben served as a Eucharistic Minister and Usher at various churches and was a very supportive, loving and giving man.

Benjamin T. Spires, III was preceded in death by his loving wife, Josephine Spires; survived by his children; Lynette, Cindy, Jackie-Jo and Dawn.  He is also survived by his sister Jackie, many grandchildren and great grandchildren.  

We will miss Ben and his thoughtful, caring and simple ways.
