Betty Lee Reny was born on February 26, 1930 in the Bronx, New York, and passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 5th, 2019 at the age of 89. Betty lived most of her life in Florida, raising her family in Hollywood, Florida. Family and friends meant everything to Betty, she was known as the block mom who always took care of everyone. Betty loved to cook, and always welcomed everybody into her home. For fun she loved to play cards, especially Texas Holdem, and was an avid sports fan.
Betty is preceded in death by her husband, Marcel Reny; sister, Dorothy Jee; brother, David Lee; and brother, George Lee. She is survived by her son, Michael Reny (and his wife Ronda); son, Dana Reny; daughter, Carlene Reny (and her wife Linda); brother, Paul Lee (and his wife Carole); her sister, Jeannie Donahey (and her husband Bill); and grandson, Kevin Reny.
A Memorial Mass will take place on Saturday, September 21, beginning at 10:00 a.m. at the Nativity Catholic Church, 5220 Johnson Street, Hollywood, Florida.
