Conklin, Brian Francis, a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend, of Cooper City, passed away peacefully surrounded by his beloved family on Monday, December 1, 2014, at the age of 69. Brian was born on February 6, 1945, in Bronx, NY, to the late George David Conklin and Virginia Conklin nee Neu. He was a proud US Army Veteran. Brian was a kind human being with a beautiful soul who always loved to help others. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his devoted wife of 47 years, Sharon J. Conklin; his beloved daughter, Jennie Conklin; his loving son, Brian Theresa Conklin; his 4 adored grandchildren and extended family members. Visitation will take place on Thursday, December 4, 2014, from 6-8 p.m. with a Tributes of a Lifetime Service at 7:00 p.m. at Boyd-Panciera Family Funeral Care, University Drive Chapel. Funeral Mass will be on Friday, December 5, 10:00 a.m. at St. Mark Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers, family suggests donations be made in Brian’s memory to The Fisher House Foundation, 111 Rockville Pike Suite# 420, Rockville, MD 20850 or online at https://fisherhouse.fasttransact.net

My thoughts are with you at this time as I can’t be. I will light a candle for Brian on Friday and hope you have a peaceful day. He lived life to the fullest and enjoyed watching you all grow. He was very proud of his family. I love you guys and will be thinking of you.

I had planned to celebrate with you at the funeral Mass tomorrow, but I’m sorry that I am not able to.

I will have a triduum of Masses celebrated by a missionary priest for the peace of you and your family and for Brian’s eternal peace.
