Carlo J. Calcasola, 85, a resident of Ft. Lauderdale, passed away Thursday, April 19, 2018, in Boca Raton, Florida. Born on May 17, 1932, in Thompsonville, Connecticut, to the late Gaspare Calcasola and Maria (Barone) Calcasola. Carlo proudly served this country in the US Navy, after his honorable discharge he became an Air Traffic Controller for the US Department of Transportation. He is survived by his beloved wife, Mary Calcasola; his loving children, Carlo (Bonnie) Calcasola, Katie Calcasola and Maryellen (John) Costello; grandchildren, Carlo W. Calcasola, Danielle Calcasola, Jamie Calcasola and Kevin J. Costello; great-grandchildren, Chloe Calcasola and Cameron Calcasola; brother, Joseph Calcasola; sisters, Faye Grimaldi and Mary Boire. A memorial service will take place on Friday, June 1, 2018, 11:00 AM at Boyd-Panciera Family Funeral Care, University Drive Chapel.
