Carlos Gustavo Ruge, a loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother, passed away peacefully in his Sunrise home on Thursday, December 20, 2018, at the age of 66 years. 

He was born in 1952, in Chiquinquira, Colombia, one of six children born to the late Jose Dolores Ruge and Fulvia Pena. Carlos worked in the real estate industry as a land surveyor. A family man, who cherished every moment with his family. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Survived by his beloved wife, Maria Ruge; children, Hans Ruge and his wife Jill, Marjorie Giron and her husband Alexander, Jeancarlo Ruge and his wife Alva; brother, Daniel Ruge; sisters, Meri, Isabel, Helena, and Cecilia; grandchildren, Michael, Joseph, Nicholas, Benjamin, Samuel, Christian, and Dalilan. 

Visitation will take place on Saturday, December 29th, starting at 11:00 AM with Funeral Service at 12:00 PM at The Church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints in Pembroke Pines. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Park Cemetery – West.
