MIAMI — Carlos Novoa, 79, died Monday, November 12, 2018 at Baptist Hospital inMmiami, following a brief illness.

He leaves his wife, Maria (Hernandez) Novoa; his son, Charles Novoa; his daughters, Caroline Mascia and Susan Milordis; and his grandchildren.

Born and raised in Havana, Cuba, the son of the late Carlos Novoa, Sr and Adolfina (Castaneda) Novoa, he was a lifelong resident of Miami.

Mr. Novoa graduated with a doctorate degree in Education. He met his wife, Maria they married and raised a beautiful family. He had a successful career as a Professor. His passion was his family and profession. He will be deeply missed by his family and all he knew him.
