Bongiorno, Catherine F., 93, of Pembroke Pines, went to heaven to reunite with her beloved husband, Sal, on Wednesday, December 11, 2013. Catherine was born in Marinel, Italy in 1920, to the late Pietro Muratore and Carmela Provenzale. She is survived by her daughter, Maria Robert Whittington; son, Marco Bongiorno; and her two grandchildren, Salvatore Bongiorno and Joseph Bongiorno. Visitation will take place on Saturday, December 14, 2013, from 9-11 a.m. at Boyd-Panciera Douglas Road Chapel. Funeral Mass will also be on Saturday, 11:30 a.m. at Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic Church, followed by Entombment at Dade Memorial Park.
