Cecelia Tormos, a long time resident of Pembroke Pines, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, March 4, 2018, at the age of 83. She was the daughter of the late Cecilio Bonano and Rosa Rosario. Although Cecelia was born in New Jersey, she never denied her Puertorican roots. She loved her heritage and background. She attended college and had a long career in a Law Firm as a Legal Secretary. Pre-deceased by her husband Jose M. Tormos. Survived by her cousin, Robert Morales; dear friend, Violetta Ceballos and many other friends from her apartment complex. An urn committal service will take place in the near future at Woodlawn National Cemetery, where she will be laid to rest next to her husband.
