Chad Oppert, 35, of Atlanta and Fort Lauderdale, unexpectedly went to his Lord on April 22 due to heart failure from internal bleeding. He is survived by his loving parents Chuck and Donna Oppert of Ft. Lauderdale and by his sister Leigh and brother-in-law Drue Armstrong and their young son, Judah, of Atlanta. He also leaves behind his beloved long-time companion Dana Strianese. Chad was an accomplished corporate pilot at a young age. His last flight, flying with his father on his final day on earth, was truly God’s blessing. Chad was loved by all who knew him. As God has Chad in His arms, we will have Chad in our hearts until we meet again in heaven. A memorial service will be held at Calvary Chapel Ft. Lauderdale on Friday, May 8, 2015, at 5:00 p.m. Also, a graveside service will be held in Atlanta. Condolences may be offered to the Oppert family at the service. Chad’s memorial can be viewed at Boyd-Panciera Family Funeral Care at www.bpfamilycare.com and /or www.forevermissed.com/chadoppert. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to 4Kids of South Florida or Sheridan House Family Ministry in Chad Oppert’s memory. A Funeral is NOT a DAY in a Lifetime… it is a LIFETIME in a DAY!
