Charles Raymond “Biggs” Bergen, 36 of Cooper City, was suddenly called home to be with his Lord on June 18, 2017. Charlie was a true Floridian, being born in Hollywood, Florida on May 17, 1981. He was one of four children born to Michael and Ann Bergen. After graduating high school, Charlie, worked alongside his father in the family business as a water treatment plant operator. He leaves behind his loving parents, Michael and Ann; brother and sisters, Lisa, Paul and Diana; aunts, Sister Donna Schmitt, Diana Schmitt, Mary Ann Sander, Madelyn Dick; uncles, Donald Schmitt, Michael Schmitt and Werner Bergen; cousins both in the United States and Germany and many dear friends that he loved as family. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Erika and Paul Bergen, Raymond and Anna Marie Schmitt, and his uncle Ronald Schmitt. Joshua 1:9 “Be Strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”

Gathering will take place on Saturday, September 16, 2017, from 3-5 p.m. with Tributes of a Lifetime Service at 4:00 p.m. at Boyd-Panciera Family Funeral Care, University Drive Chapel.
