Claudette Ann Marie Fraser 83, of Miramar Florida, passed away peacefully on August 20, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.
Claudette was born on May 5th, 1943, in Georgetown, Guyana, to Arthur Noel and Kathleen Griffith. She was the eldest of four children. She relocated to London, England at the age of 16. She married Everet Fraser on December 23rd, 1961. They were married for 64 years.
Claudette spent years working as Seamstress, in London. She had her first four children, Elizabeth, Andrew, Gordon and Deborah and later she moved to Boston, Massachusetts and worked at BlueCross BlueShield. There she had two more children, Athony and Kathleen.
But Claudette’s real career was her family. Her and her husband Everet raised six children in the house in Boston on 28 Draper Street; where she raised many of the neighborhood children she called her extended family.
Later in her years she moved to New York and owned a West Indian family restaurant, Pompey’s Restaurant. For over 20 years her husband and children set up tables and fed thousands at the Labor Day Caribbean festival on Eastern Parkway in Brooklyn, New York.
Claudette relocated to Florida in 1995 and has lived in Broward County for 31 years where she enjoyed spending time with her many children and grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Evert Fraser and her children: Elizabeth Fraser, Andrew Fraser, Gordon (Nicole) Fraser, Deborah Fraser Martineau, Anthony (Tina) Fraser, and Kathleen Fraser. Her eight grandchildren: Jesse (Selina), the late Marcus, Nichole, Trellis, Christina, Jordan, Kayla and Brooklyn. Eight great grandchildren, Gabriella, Jessie, Janice, Marcus, Malani, Masiyah, Trinity and Sinai. Her brother, George (Cheryl) Noel. She was preceded in death by her sister, Anita Noel and her brother, Bobby Noel. She leaves a host family and friends, special friend Lorraine (Charles) Barrett, Barbara Jackman and Jean Griffith.
Visitation to be held on Friday, August 28, 2026 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM, With Tributes of a Lifetime and Prayer Service at 6:00 PM at Boyd-Panciera Family Funeral Care, 1600 N. University Drive, Pembroke Pines, Florida.

Followed by Mausoleum Committal Service at Vista Memorial Gardens, 14200 NW 57th Avenue, Miami Lakes, Florida 33014.
