Ramirez, Codeliva Cody Salort, 88, of Pembroke Pines, FL widow of Edward Frosty Ramirez went to rest with her family on 1/26/10. She was predeceased by her parents Michael & Ramona Salort, 3 brothers, and 1 sister Marina Salort Pedreira. Along with numerous nieces and nephews she also leaves behind her special caregiver and best friend, Jennifer Ginger Sheftal. We will all be eternally grateful, continue to lover her and will miss her terribly. In lieu of flowers, please send donations in Cody’s name to The M.S. Society, 6350 North Andrews Avenue, Ft. Lauderdale, FL 33309, 800-225-6495, so that some day there may be a cure for her cherished niece Mary Lynn. Funeral Mass will be Friday, 11:00 AM, at St. Maximilian Catholic Church, 701 N. Hiatus Road, Pembroke Pines. Interment to be held at a later date at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Cemetery.

Mary,
You have our dearest and most sincere sympathy. All I have are the memories of the cute pictures of Cody and the lingering memories of the stories about her trips shopping, to the cute little phrases she use to say to you. She was one in a million. You fulfilled your role completely. She will truly be missed. But never lost or forgotten, her spirit will live on in our hearts. I am so very sorry for your loss. My prayers are with you. I know no matter the words spoken now can ease the pain but know Codeliva has to be one of God’s VERY SPECIAL ANGELS for him to call upon her to join him. I didn’t personally know your Aunt Cody, but I remember the terrific stories you used to tell about her, that make me chuckle. She was certainly a treasure.
