Garcia, Cruz Lydia, 73, a devoted wife, mother and grandmother, of West Park, passed away Wednesday, May 2, 2018. She was born on February 28, 1945, in San Juan, Puerto Rico, to the late Abinabad Suro and Juana (Reyes) Suro. Cruz met and fell in love with her husband Radames and together raised two children. Cruz enjoyed several things like playing in the casino, loved to cook for her family and was an animal lover. She will be deeply missed by her family and all who knew her. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Radames Garcia; son, Andres Garcia and his wife Michelle; daughter, Adriana Garcia; brothers, Hector Suro and Genaro Suro: and her three loving grandchildren, Angelica, Jamie and Hallie. Visitation will take place on Friday, May 4, 2018, from 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM with a Tribute of a Lifetime Service at 1:00 PM at Boyd-Panciera Family Funeral Care, University Drive Chapel. Interment will follow at Hollywood Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
