Thorpe, Daisy Belle, 93, a long time resident of Pembroke Pines, coming from Browns Town, Jamaica, passed away Monday, February 19, 2018. She was born to Robert Sparks and May Willie on September 30, 1924. Daisy and her family relocated to south Florida and here she had a long career as a Nursing Assistant. Pre-deceased by her husband, Boysie Thorpe. Survived by her loving children, Harris Thorpe, Dennis Thorpe, Lorene Spence, Dr. Clarence Thorpe and Joan Thorpe-Merritt. The family will receive friends on Friday, March 9, 2018, from 6-9:30 p.m. at Boyd-Panciera Family Funeral Care, University Drive Chapel. A Tribute of a Lifetime Service will begin at 8:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be on Saturday, March 10, 11:00 a.m. at Holy Sacrament Episcopal Church.
