Dear Becky and Family, So sorry to hear of your loss. I feel a certain closeness not because I knew Dave very well but because I got to know his Dad very well since we started going to the same church there is Sarasota. Glen was one of the very first people who came up to me to talk when we were visiting Bahia Vista Church and I started calling him my “boy friend” and we always laughed about that. It was at least 3 months later till we realized who we both knew very well, his son and my cousin, Becky. What a small world. Well, Becky, if you are ever in Sarasota I certainly hope that you will look Warren and I up. We would love to see and visit with you. You have a place to stay if you like! Call at 863-514-3425 or visit at 4820 Remington Dr. Sarasota, Fl. 34234.

First cousin David and I and my brother James grew up together in NW Ohio and I have many fond memories of the times we had in Stryker with the Glen King family and in Archbold where we lived. David was a great cousin and we were always into something but not into trouble. The Glen King family move to Florida put too many miles between us and the visits were infrequent. When I was about 15 our family visited down in Florida and I still remember going with David on his motorcycle to deliver newspapers early in the morning. It was the greatest. We could legally ride at that age down there.
David had a love of life and loved figuring out how to get things done. I didn’t find out about his death til it was too late to attend the service or I would have been there.

I’ll always remember that Dave & I shared a love for 60’s & 70’s rock music. He taught me a lot about classic rock. We always had a good time when our families got together.
Our thoughts & prayers are with you in this difficult time.
