Way, Denise Leighan, 28, of Hollywood passed away Friday, February 27. She is survived by Friends may visit from 2-4 & 6-8 PM, Tuesday at Boyd’s University Dr. Chapel. Funeral Services will be 11:00 AM, Wednesday, Mar. 4, at Boyd’s University Dr. Chapel. Interment will follow at Hollywood Memorial Gardens.

I met Denise when she entered my school as a kindergarten student. She later became my son, Frank’s babysitter. Denise and her Mom won my whole families heart over the years and I was glad that we still kept in contact even when I moved. She left an inprint on all of my families heart and will be missed.

I knew Denise from her being a patient at the hospital. She touched my heart from the first time I meet her. I considered her a friend not a patient. She will be missed. I know she is in heaven with her mom and grandmother and is happy and out of pain. God Bless.
